Coaching Initiatives
Our head coaches work hard throughout the year to come up with training plans for our athletes. During the season, each lead a group of assistant coaches, who play a vital role in students' engagement and work to build a sense of camaraderie. Read below for current programs and events being planned and executed by our coaching team.
Graham Elementary & Middle School (GEMS)
This is where it all started for the ROI. Located on East 16th Ave, the school is the host of a biyearly running program for its 5th-8th graders. Seasons take place from March to May and from September to October, with practices Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30 to 3:15. Our Fall 2024 season begins September 10th.
North Columbus Preparatory Academy
The ROI's newest program, this program serves the 6th through 8th graders at North Columbus Prep, which is only a seven-minute drive from OSU (we provide transportation for our coaches!). Practices take place 1:30 to 2:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our Fall 2024 season begins September 10th.
